How we verify a teahouse phone number
Two calls, a WhatsApp probe, and a season tag. The verification stamp on every contact card means this happened.

Every phone number in the app carries a verification stamp: the date it was last confirmed working, by whom.
The process: an ops-team caller dials twice, at least 24 hours apart, on the local network. If both calls connect to a human at the lodge, the number is stamped. If WhatsApp is registered against the same number, it gets a green WA badge. Disconnected numbers are pulled within seven days of the failed call.
